Molecular Biometrics Featured at Wharton Health Care Business Conference
James Posillico, PhD, President and Chief Executive Officer of Molecular Biometrics, has been invited to present at the 2008 Wharton Health Care Business Conference on February 21-22, in Philadelphia. The Wharton Health Care Business Conference, which began in 1996, is a leading health care forum for industry professionals, academics and students. The annual two-day event typically draws over 600 attendees from across the nation.

This year's conference will address the evolution of the many sectors of health care – the new business models and technologies characterizing the biopharmaceutical space, how IT is transforming health care delivery, and the political and international factors driving change in venture capital and corporate finance.

Dr. Posillico will be discussing the company’s research and development activities and commercial plans during the Focus on Innovation Event, which highlights enterprising startups that drive health care innovation and the creation of new products that will shape the future of human health. Molecular Biometrics was selected from among the region's most promising companies, further underscoring the company’s innovative technology and vision to bring new accuracy to diagnostics in five areas of medicine where there is a demonstrated need, including reproductive health, neurodegenerative disease, maternal fetal medicine, and drug discovery and development.
